This is a great DVD set. The sound quality is amazing and the bonus footage is wonderful. It will make a great stocking stuffer.
It would be amazing if the songs performed were available for purchase on CD format or as download from internet.
Very pleased to see Season 2 announced.After watching Season 1 I can’t think of anyone better to host a show like this than you …Elvis Costello…you shine!For music lovers such as myself this show is fabulous!Thanks to you and Sir Elton for such wonderful TV entertainment
First of all I want to say how much I enjoy this show. Love the guests, the music & above all the intimate conversations. I was however disappointed to see Kris Kristoffersen & John Cougar on the show together with Norah Jones & Roseanne Cash. Although both of these ladies are amazing artists I felt that with the volume of music that Kris & John have had over the years, they should have each been given a full episode. Hoping that in the future both of these musicians will be given the opportunity to make another appearance on the show. I look forward to hearing their stories. Can’t wait for the new season to begin & I hope that there are many more to come.
This show is the best thing on t.v.

Maybe in the future some great guests could include:
Jonathan Richman, Mick and Keith and Nick Cave.

I love the show it rockes great guests. Myself I am a big country guy that was great to have Rosanne Cash and Kris Kirss and all that on one show its great to get to know the artists. I love the show with Jenny Lewis and that as well i am a big fan of hers i have her album. I can’t wait for the new 2 season I hope its comming out soon
I am kind of song writer myself. I write poetry mostly i work on songs too
Will Spectacle Season 2 be available in Canada?
I know we had season 1 with, I believe CTV but have had no announcement of season 2.

No inquiry. Just a fan post from a 58 year old professor of political science. Your show is a joy. Music, ocnversation and good vibes. I am grateful for season 2 and hope for season 3. Too much to ask in this world? Perhaps. But thanks nonetheless. Watching the show with Jesse Winchester, Sheryl Crow et al made me remember why I enjoy listening to music. I felt young and alive.
As they said for my parents generation, thanks for the memories.
